December 2022 🧑🎄 - CoffeePals Product Updates
👋 Hi all,
Where has 2022 gone? Time flies doesn't it? The CoffeePals team has been working hard and is excited to announce our latest release, including a highly requested feature: one-click match scheduling! We're super excited to hear your feedback.
Here's what's new in CoffeePals:
📅Connected Calendar Scheduling
Scheduling your coffee chat just got much easier! When you connect your Outlook calendar, CoffeePals will automatically find times that work for both you and your match based on your availability and working hours. The available times will be displayed directly on the match card, so you can easily choose a time to meet. When you click "Send Invite", a calendar invite will be sent from your account to your match, and the invite will include both users' bios so you can refresh your memory about who you're meeting before the coffee chat. This simplifies the process of scheduling a coffee chat, making it more convenient for users.
Users still also have the option to schedule manually if they'd like with the "Schedule manually' button.
🔒SOC 2 Security
We are continuing to improve our security as an organization by developing processes, policies and systems. This is a part of our commitment to keeping our users' data safe. CoffeePals has successfully passed our SOC2 Type 1 audit. We expect to have our MS365 compliance and SOC2 Type 2 audit complete in Q1, 2023.
🐞Bug Fixes
The team has fixed a large number of bugs to improve the user experience. We've also been improving our infrastructure to support faster matches and more unique features. Stay tuned for big changes coming soon!
