If you are on a paid plan, an active user is someone who is on a team that gets a match within the month or is on a team with CoffeeMaker enabled. If a user is on multiple teams that have matching enabled, they are only considered a single user. When a user leaves and is no longer a part of any matching/CoffeeMaker team, they are no longer considered an active user.
We take security seriously as we understand that Teams store much of your organization's sensitive data. We follow strict security protocols and strive to go above and beyond the standards in the industry. Please read our Security Practices, Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We are in the process of getting the Microsoft 365 compliance certification and SOC2.

By default, we automatically upgrade your plan once you exceed the threshold. If you are on the annual plan, we will pro-rate your upgrade to the end of the current period. If you then decrease your user count, we will apply a credit to your account.
We will only match the first 24 people that join the team. We will continue to match those people and send you notice that you have exceeded the free plan.

Yes, you can install the bot right into teams without purchasing a subscription. You can match up to 24 users for free, forever.
We also offer a 14-day free trial for our Pro tier so you can match larger teams.
Absolutely, create an account in the billing page of the dashboard and assign the team(s) that you wish to pay for. This will only consider those team's active users.
We offer discounts for educational institutions and nonprofits. Please contact us at support@coffeepals.com to get details on this offering.
We offer both monthly and annual subscriptions. If you upgrade from monthly to annually midway through your billing cycle you will receive a credit for your next cycle.
You can cancel your current plan at any time. You will still have access to the platform and matching for the duration of that cycle. After that billing cycle ends, you will not be charged again. We do not offer refunds on payments already made.
