Try CoffeePals freeFrequently asked questions
- Is this generator really free?
- Yes — completely free, no signup, no email required, and no watermark on the downloaded image. Use it as often as you like.
- Where do my uploaded photos and logos go?
- Nowhere. Every image you add is processed in your browser using the HTML canvas API. Nothing is uploaded to our servers, nothing is stored, nothing is tracked.
- What image size does it produce?
- Cards export as 1200×630 PNGs. That ratio is ideal for Slack image previews, LinkedIn posts, and email signatures, and looks crisp on retina displays.
- How do I post the card to Slack?
- Two options. Click Download to save the PNG and drag it into any Slack channel or DM. Or click Copy image and paste it directly into a message with Cmd+V or Ctrl+V.
- Can I add my company logo?
- Yes. Upload a PNG, JPG, or SVG in the Company logo section and it will appear at the top of every template. Your branding stays consistent across cards.
- How many years of service can I include?
- Up to three digits — anything from 1 to 100 years. The Milestone template makes the number the focal point, so single-digit and double-digit milestones both look great.
- What should I write on a work anniversary card?
- Lead with the years and a thank-you, then add one specific thing they’ve contributed. "Five years of making our standups smarter — thanks for everything, Alex" lands better than a generic congratulations.
- Should I celebrate every work anniversary, or only milestones?
- Most teams celebrate every year publicly with a quick Slack post, and reserve bigger moments — gifts, shout-outs in all-hands — for milestone years like 1, 5, 10, and 20. Either way, a card is a low-effort way to make every year feel recognized.
- When should I post a work anniversary card?
- Post the morning of the anniversary itself, ideally before standup. If the date falls on a weekend or holiday, post it the next working day. Tag the person and let teammates pile on with their own messages.
